As we are expanding our global presence, we are looking for a senior leader to build and scale the Asia Pacific market for Haptik, which includes everything “right of ƒ” including South East Asia, ANZ and Far East.
You will own the business for the region. You will actively prospect clients, build relationships and close business. You will build and manage a team of business development professionals. This person will also be responsible for partner development in the region including system integrators and referral partners. As a key sales leader in the company, you will collaborate closely with various teams including Product Development, Customer Success & Marketing to help drive business in the region.
This position reports into the CEO, overall working closely with the leadership in the company. While you know how to work hard, you also know how to have fun at work and make friends with your colleagues.
Launch, build and scale the Haptik business across the region. You will be the P&L owner of the entire region.
Responsible for quarterly and annual revenue targets of the company in the Asia Pacific region
Build and manage the right set of sales and marketing teams as required by business over time
Develop deep relationships with partners, customers and general industry insiders
Work closely with product & marketing teams to drive overall product strategy and positioning
Track progress of market specific business improvements, competitors and measure impact
Have a deep understanding of the market requirements and adapt the GTM strategy as needed to establish Haptik as the leading Conversational AI player in the region
10-15 years of experience, preferably in SaaS and building new markets
Demonstrated history of building a large software business using direct sales, marketing & channels
Meets the values framework of Haptik of having an entrepreneurial DNA, high aptitude and extremely persevering attitude
Proven leadership abilities and business acumen
Understanding of SaaS and the cloud business
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
